Benard is under the care of his aged widowed mother who has literally nothing to offer to her needy family.  At home, he sleeps on a mat spread on the floor of the tinned-roof house with mud walls.  Benard’s brothers do some fishing, work for people on farms, burn charcoal and sell firewood to raise support for their family.  He has now decided that he would like to be a pilot!  He is trusting Christ as his Savior.  He is in Grade 8.  ID #323
