Calisto’s father died in 1998 and his mother in 2002, both of HIV/AIDS. After their deaths Calisto’s brother became the breadwinner. Calisto dropped out of school to help his brother in the fishing trade in order to get enough food to eat.  It was a very difficult life for a boy to wake at dawn and begin working. Calisto joined GGCC in 2003 in grade 3. Calisto is now in Grade 11. ID #3
