Calvince’s mother died in 2004 and his father in 2005.  Currently he is staying with his old grandparents.  His grandmother is a peasant farmer, and brews the illegal brew known as “changa” to help provide for her orphaned grandchildren.  Calvince’s grandfather weaves baskets to help support his extended family.  He is 17 years old and in Grade 6.  Calvince joined GGCC in 2009.
