Demmish lives with his widowed mother since the death of his father in 2001 after a long illness.  Dennish’s mother burns charcoal, sells firewood, and does some fishing to provide for her young family.  She is the only surviving wife in a family that had four wives and often takes care of three other orphans left behind by the co-wives. Dennish is very healthy and his academic performance is very good.  His best subjects are math and science.  He is in Grade 7.  ID #334
